In December 2008, 12 singers performed PCCC’s first concert.
Today, we average 40 singers per season!
The Plant City Community Chorale is a welcoming, inclusive musical community where voices unite in song and friendships find harmony. We nurture the soul through the shared joy of singing, fostering a deep sense of belonging, acceptance, and connection. By embracing singers of all backgrounds and abilities, we create a space where everyone can find their people, lift their voice, and be part of something greater. Our members are dedicated to showing up, supporting one another, and putting in the work—together striving for musical excellence in both rehearsal and performance. Through this shared commitment, we enrich our lives and our community with the transformative power of music.
As of January 1, 2011, PCCC became a 501(c)(3) organization. This non-profit status allows us to receive tax-free donations and sponsorships.
PCCC is governed by member-approved bylaws. The on-going business of the Chorale is handled by a member elected Executive Board. The voting members of this Board are the Executive Director, Secretary, and Treasurer. The Artistic Director and the Concert Manager advise and report to the Board.
The PCC Chorale provides its members with opportunities to sing a variety of music from many composers, countries, and eras.
Our Artistic Director develops and encourages dynamic musical expression, appropriate choral fundamentals, and affords opportunities for solo and small ensembles in addition to crafting consistent “one voice” choir performances.
PCC Chorale strives to be a model of excellence in choral performance. We are always looking for new voices to become a member of our singing community.
To join, a singer must demonstrate the ability to match pitches and rhythms, sing in tune, and be willing to sing in the section the Artistic Director determines best suits your voice and the Chorale’s need.

The Chorale generally has three (3) Concert Sessions during our Concert Season: Holidays, Spring, and a Summer/Patriotic Concert celebrating our nation and its’ founding principles.

Please contact us with any questions you may have about singing with our Chorale.
